J eden z najpôsobivejších vý letov do prírody je cesta na Jelenskú skalu, ktorá sa vypína nad celou dolinou. Výhľad z nej je nezabudnuteľný a ur čite patrí k najkrajším zážitkom v Španej Doline.

Due to previous mining activities, the entire area is littered with a dense network of original roads on which the ore and the wood was brought into the valley. Hiking and biking trails are wide and comfortable. All trails are well marked by coloured painted touristic marks. The centre of summer tourist treats is Klopačka, which is situated directly in the square and the Šachtička area which is above Špania Dolina. They offer to visitors not only accommodation and food but also a swimming pool with saunas, horseback riding and a tennis court. For children, there is a playground and a small zoo full of domestic animals. In the forest on the mountainside, there is a reconstructed bunker of the Fifth Partisan Unit which, during the Slovak National Uprising, as well as military and sabotage actions, issued rousing leaflets and an illegal magazine called Mor Ho! One of the most impressive trips into the local nature is the route to Jelenská skala, which looms over the entire valley. The view from there is unforgettable and is definitely one of the nicest experiences in Špania Dolina.

Das gesamte Gebiet ist aufgrund ehemaliger Bergbautätigkeit mit ursprünglichen Straßen versehen, auf denen Erz und Holz in das Tal gebracht wurden. Die Wanderwege für Touristen und Radfahrer sind breit und angenehm zu fahren. Alle Routen sind durchgehend farblich markiert. Das Zentrum des Sommertourismus ist Klopačka direkt am Hauptplatz und Šachtička oberhalb von Špania Dolina. Den Besuchern werden neben Unterkunft und Verpflegung auch ein Schwimmbecken mit Saunas, Pferdereiten und ein Tennisplatz angeboten. Für Kinder steht ein Kinderspielplatz und ein kleiner Zoo mit Haustieren zur Verfügung. Am Waldhang befindet sich ein rekonstruierter Bunker des 5. Regiments der Partisanen, der während des Slowakischen Nationalaufstands neben militärischer und anderer Tätigkeiten auch revolutionäre Flugblätter verfasste und eine illegale Zeitschrift mit dem Namen Mor Ho! herausgab. Zu den am meisten beeindruckenden Ausflügen in die Natur gehört der Weg auf Jelenská skala (Hirschfelsen), der über dem ganzen Tal thront. Die Aussicht ist unvergesslich und gehört sicherlich zu den schönsten Erlebnissen in Špania Dolina.
