Kniha o Španej Doline a okolí

V obci sa zachovali pôvodné stav by domov s priľahlými budovami – maštaľami a drevárňami. Majite lia si domy opravili a dnes ich vyu žívajú ako chalupy. Každý víkend celá obec príchodom víkendových návštevníkov ožije a zmení sa na skutočnú oázu pohody a príjemnej atmosféry.

V okolí obce boli vybudované vodné nádrže – tajchy. Tajch ako umelé jazero zbieralo vodu z vyš šie položených banských diel. Odtiaľto voda tiekla postavenými jarkami na šachtu Ferdinand do kováčne a na stupu vo Flúdri. Pod nimi sa spojila s vodami Banského potoka, aby roztáčala kolesá dolnej stupy, umiestnenej nižšie v doline. J eden z takýchto tajchov je pria mo v obci. Hrádza je opravená a umelo vytvorené jazierko sa využíva na príjemné posedenie pri vode.

In the village, the original homes with their attached buildings – stables and woodsheds have been preserved. Today’s owners repaired them and use them as their weekend houses. Every weekend thanks to these visitors the whole village comes to life and becomes a true oasis of peace with a pleasant atmosphere. Around the village, there are water reservoirs called tajch (German: Teich). A tajch is an artificial lake that collects water from mining works taking place above. From there the water flowed through man-made channels to the Ferdinand shaft and to the forge and stamping mill nearby in Flúdra village. Below them it was merged with the waters of the mining stream and span the wheels of the lower stamping mill down in the valley. One of these reservoirs is directly in the village. The dam was repaired and now the artificial lake is a place where people come to sit by the water.

In der Gemeinde sind ursprüngliche Häuser mit anliegenden Gebäuden - Stall und Holzschuppen - erhalten geblieben. Die Eigentümer haben die Häuser restauriert und nutzen sie heute

als Landhäuser. Jedes Wochenende wacht die Gemeinde mit der Ankunft der Wochenendbesucher auf und verwandelt sich in eine richtige Oase des Friedens und angenehmer Atmosphäre. In der Umgebung der Gemeinde wurden Sammelbecken (Teiche) errichtet. Der Teich als ein künstlicher See sammelte Wasser aus höher gelegenen Bergwerken. Von hier floss das Wasser durch ausgehöhlte Rinnen bis zum Schacht Ferdinand in die Schmiedestube und in das Pochwerk in Flúdor. Unter ihnen verband sich das Wasser mit dem Wasser des Bergflusses und trieb die Räder des unteren Pochwerks an, das sich tiefer im Tal befand. Einer der Teiche befindet sich direkt im Ort. Der Deich wurde repariert und der künstlich geschaffene See wird zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt am Wasser genützt.
