J ednou z najobľúbenejších atrakcií obce je baníc ky orloj s figúrkami baníkov, ktorý zdobí stred obce. Vedľa známej Klopačky je napoly zastrešená budo va šachty Ferdinand, kde stojí aj náš orloj. Zobrazu je model typickej špaňodolinskej bane v 16. storočí. Baníci rúbu skalu, nakladajú ju na vozíky a vyťahujú šachtou na povrch. Orloj bol zhotovený a sprístup nený pre verejnosť v roku 2004. B anícky orloj sa otvára každú celú hodinu. Aby ho návštevníci mohli vidieť v plnej paráde, musia prísť v správnom čase, keď sa rozohrá. O medenej hore v Španej Doline sa traduje povesť. Raz v lete večerom kráčal istý kosec cez Katrenku domov. Zrazu zbadal, že hora sa zmenila na medenú. Stromy, tráva aj pne boli z medi. V hore behali vojaci a pili pivo z mede ných pohárov. Veľmi sa naľakal a keďže neve del o čo ide, nakreslil na zem kruh, do ktorého si sadol a na každú stranu nakreslil kríž. A urobil dobre, lebo vojaci boli čerti a kontrolovali duše a zlé skutky zomrelých. V kruhu mu neublížili a poslali ho preč. Utekal vystrašený domov, no keď sa dotkol kľučky, odpadol a zomrel. Tú horu neskôr uvideli aj iní baníci a horári. A odvtedy si o nej rozprávajú neuveriteľné príhody. zur Hälfte überdachte Gebäude des Schachts Ferdinand, in dem auch die Aposteluhr ist. Sie zeigt ein Modell einer typischen Mine in Špania Dolina im 16. Jahrhundert. Die Bergleute spalten die Steine, laden sie auf Karren und ziehen sie durch den Schacht an die Erdoberfläche. Er tat gut daran zu malen, denn die Soldaten waren Teufel, die die Seelen und schlechte Taten der Verstorbenen kontrollierten. Solange er im Kreis stand, taten sie ihm nichts, sie schickten ihn jedoch fort. Verängstigt lief er nach Hause, aber als er den Türgriff anfasste, wurde er ohnmächtig und starb. Diesen Wald sahen später auch andere Bergleute und Förster. Seitdem erzählen sie unglaubliche Geschichten darüber. Eine der beliebtesten Attraktionen unserer Gemeinde ist eine Aposteluhr mit Figuren der Bergarbeiter, die die Ortsmitte schmückt. Neben dem bekannten Klopfturm befindet sich das

One of the most popular attractions in the village is a horologe with figurines of miners in the centre of the village. The half-covered building of the Ferdinand shaft where our horologe is situated is located next to the famous Klopačka. It displays the model of a typical mine in Špania Dolina in the 16 th century. The miners can be seen removing a rock, loading it on the mine car and pulling it through the shaft to the surface. The horologe was constructed and opened to the public in 2004. The mining horologe opens up every hour. In order to see it in its full beauty, visitors must naturally come at the right time of the hour. To present-day visitors, the sound of mining knockers offers a vivid picture of the daily background music in the valley at that time. In its upper part, St Clement, patron and protector of miners, watches over the workers. A legend circulates about the Copper Hill (Medená hora) in Špania Dolina. One summer evening a mower walked home through Katrenka. Suddenly he saw that the mountain had turned into copper. The trees, grass and stumps were all made of copper. In the forest, soldiers were running and drinking beer from copper cups. He was very scared and since he did not know what was going on, he drew a circle on the ground, sat inside it and drew a cross on each of the cardinal directions. And he did well, because these soldiers were devils and they were trying the souls and sins of dead. They did not hurt him as he was in the ring and sent him away. He ran home scared but when he touched a handle he fainted and died. The same hill has been seen by other miners and foresters since, and people tell incredible stories.
