57) Šachta Ludovika

Z ačiatkom 19. storočia bola vybudovaná šachta Ludovika, ktorá pracovala až do roku 1888 a bola najvýkonnejšou šachtou. V priebehu niekoľkých storočí boli v doline vybudované štyri šachty. Po jednej boli na Pieskoch, v Richtárovej, v Polkanovej v Zelenej doline šachta Obernauer a šachta Haliar na Starých Horách. D nes sú viditeľné kamenné pozostatky všetkých šácht. Zo štôlní ostali už len terénne zárezy s vytekajúcou vodou. Aj keď ťažobné a dedičné štôlne dosiahli v minulosti celkovú

dĺžku až 70 km, dnes sú už zavale né a neprístupné.

58) Mapa šácht II

V obci sa spomína táto legenda. Jednému z baníkov sa nedarilo, málo zarábal a rodina hladovala. Raz ho oslovil v bani permoník, že mu pomôže. Ukázal mu, kde treba kopať bohatú rudu, ale za to chcel, aby sa s ním rozdelil o výplatu. Odvtedy sa baníkovi začalo dariť. Keď dostal výplatu, prišiel permoník pre svoj po diel. A baník poctivo začal deliť peniažky... „jeden mne a jeden tebe“. Na konci ale zostal jeden navyše. Baník chytil čakan, že ho rozsekne na polovicu. Permoník videl, že baník je naozaj čestný človek, zastavil ho a nechal mu celú výplatu.

59) Permoník

At the beginning of the 19 th century the Ludovika shaft was built. It operated until 1888 and was the most powerful shaft. Over the centuries four shafts have been built in this valley, one in Piesky in the Richtarová area, one in Polkanová, one in Zelená dolina, called the Obernauer shaft and one in Staré Hory called the Haliar shaft. Today, stone remains of all these shafts are visible. The only remained things of the old drifts are terrain notches with leaking water. Although the mining drifts and drainage adits reached a total length of 70 km in the past, today they are caved in and inaccessible. This legend is known in the village: one of the miners was unsuccessful, he did not earn much and his family was starving. Once in the mine, a permoník (mine dwarf) addressed him in order to help him. He showed him where to dig for valuable ore, but in exchange he wanted to share the proceeds. From then on, the miner began to prosper. When the miner received payment, mine dwarf came for his share. The miner began to divide the coins honestly... “one for me and one for you...”. But at the end one coin was left. The miner took a pickaxe to cut it in half. The mine dwarf saw that the miner was a truly honest man, he stopped him and let him keep the entire payment.

Zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde der Schacht Ludovika erbaut, der bis ins Jahr 1888 betrieben wurde und der leistungsfähigste war.

Im Laufe einiger Jahrhunderte wurden in diesem Tal vier Schächte errichtet, je einer bei Piesky in Richtárová, in Polkanová, der Schacht Obernauer im Tal Zelená dolina und der Schacht Haliar in Staré Hory. Heute sieht man die Überreste aus Stein von allen Schächten. Von den Stollen blieben nur mehr Einschnitte in das Gelände mit abfließendem Wasser übrig. In der Gemeinde erzählt man sich folgende Legende: Einer der Bergleute hatte kein Glück und seine Familie litt Hunger. Eines Tages wurde er in der Mine von einem Bergmännchen angesprochen, das versprach ihm zu helfen. Es zeigte ihm, wo er auf eine reiche Ader treffe könne, verlangte dafür aber, dass der Bergmann sein Gehalt mit ihm teile. Seit dem hatte der Bergmann mehr Glück. Als er seinen Lohn erhielt kam das Bergmännchen um seinen Anteil zu bekommen. Der Bergmann begann das Geld gerecht aufzuteilen: „Eine Münze für mich und eine für dich...“. Am Ende blieb aber eine Münze übrig. Der Bergmann nahm eine Axt um die Münze zu spalten. Das Bergmännchen sah, dass der Bergmann ein ehrlicher Mensch sei, hielt ihn zurück und überließ ihm den ganzen Lohn.
