K ráľ Belo IV. (1235-1270) po odchode Tatárov veľkodušne podporil rozvoj miest, ktorým udeľoval nové privilégiá, a angažoval sa aj za rozvoj baníctva. Do krajiny po zval nových osadníkov, prevažne z Tirolska a Saska, ktorým udelil zvláštne výsady. V polovici 13. storočia sa objavili výdatnejšie medeno-rudné ložiská v oblasti Pies kov. Ruda sa dobývala jednoducho v povrchových baniach. Celá oblasť dostala nový impulz a všetci ľudia sa vrhli na túto príležitosť.

ného dolovania a hutníctvo. Kráľ im udelil rozsiahle úľavy, aby mohli slobodne podnikať. Ako mešťania boli vyňatí spod právomoci stoličnej správy, riadili sa mestskými právami, neplatili žiadne miestne dane. Kráľovi odvádzali poplatok vo výške len 1/8 z celkovej vyťaženej medi.

V slobodných kráľovských mestách vznikla nová spoločenská trieda - buržoázia, ktorá nebola závislá na feudálnej štruktúre a dokázala za niekoľko rokov nazhromaždiť veľké bohatstvo a s ním spojenú aj veľkú moc. Pre ľudstvo sa potichu začína zobúdzať nová éra.

King Béla IV (1235 – 1270) generously supported the development of towns after the Mongols left by granting them new privileges and supporting the development of mining. He invited new settlers to the country, mostly from Tyrol and Saxony, who were granted special privileges. In the middle of the 13 th century, significant copper ore deposits were discovered in the region of Piesky. The ore was extracted simply from the surface mines. The whole area was given a new impulse and everyone there took advantage of this opportunity. But the mines using the surface copper mining method did not last for long. The concentration of copper in an easily accessible rock had gradually decreased and the importance of these surface mines began progressively and inexorably to disappear. The invited German miners brought a new technology of deep mining and metallurgical methods with them. The king granted them wide-ranging assistance to let them freely execute their business. As burghers they were excluded from the jurisdiction of the administration, they followed own municipal law and were exempt from local taxes. The only tax they paid to the king was of 1/8 of the total mined copper. In the free royal towns, a new social class – the bourgeoisie – formed; it was independent of the feudal structure and in a few years managed to accumulate a significant fortune and great power which goes with it. A new epoch of mankind had quietly started.

König Béla IV. (1235-1270) förderte nach dem Abzug der Mongolen großzügig die Entwicklung der Städte, denen er neue Privilegien zuerkannte und engagierte sich auch im Bereich der Entwicklung des Bergbaus. Er lud neue Siedler in das Land ein, vorwiegend aus Tirol und Sachsen, denen er Sonderrechte erteilte. In der Mitte des 13. Jahrhunderts wurden reichere Vorkommen an Kupfererz in der Gegend um Piesky entdeckt. Das Erz wurde relativ einfach in Form eines Tagebaus abgebaut. Das ganze Gebiet erhielt einen neuen Impuls und alle Einwohner packten diese Gelegenheit beim Schopf. Doch Bergwerke mit einem Abbau des Erzes in Form eines Tagebaus hielten nicht lange. Die Konzentration des Erzes im leicht zugänglichen Gestein sank allmählich und diese oberflächennahe Minen verloren unwiederbringlich an Bedeutung. Die eingeladenen deutschen Bergleute brachten eine neue Technik des Untertagebaus und das Hüttenwesen mit. Der König erteilte Ihnen zahlreiche Privilegien, damit sie frei Handel treiben konnten. Als Stadtbürger unterlagen sie nicht der Verwaltung der Gespanschaft, hatten Stadtrechte und mussten keine örtlichen Abgaben leisten. Dem König zahlten sie nur 1/8 aus dem gesamten abgebauten Kupfer. In den freien königlichen Städten entstand eine neue gesellschaftliche Schicht - Bourgeoisie, die nicht von der feudalen Struktur abhängig war und in einigen Jahren sehr wohlhabend und einflussreich wurde. Es beginnt langsam eine neue Ära für die Menschheit.
