N a ťažbu dreva z neprístupných miest slúžil v európskom meradle unikátny a dodnes funkčný vodný žľab v Raky tovskej doline, ktorý sa používal na spla vovanie dreva. Pôvodný žľab postavili v 19. storočí a bol dlhý 2450 m.

240) Vodný žľab

H armanecká jaskyňa ako národná prírodná pamiat ka patrí medzi najznámejšie jaskyne na Slovensku. Vchod leží 260 m nad hladinou potoka Harmanec. Je sprístupnená od roku 1950 v dĺžke 720 m. Má pre krásnu bielu sintrovú výzdobu a priezračné jazierka. V oblasti sú aj ďalšie malé jaskyne, ktoré pri prechádz ke stoja za povšimnutie. Sú to jaskyne Horná a Dolná Túfna a Dekretova jaskyňa, v ktorých boli objavené pozostatky paleolitických osídlení.

241) Harmanecká jaskyňa

Pri vstupe do Zalámanej doliny sa nachádza zabud nutý kamenný most. Predpokladá sa, že bol postave ný v období fungovania Thurzovsko-fuggerovského mediarskeho podniku v 16. storočí.

242) Historický kamenný most

Harmanecká dolina je skutočnou motoristickou lahôdkou. V prekrásnej prírodnej scenérii je na vzdialenosti 11 kilometrov až 100 zákrut, niektoré aj o 180°. A to sa stalo lákadlom pre tisí ce motocyklistov z celej Európy, ktorí si túto trasu doslova vychutnávajú.

For the purposes of timber harvesting in inaccessible locations, a water channel in Rakytovská valley served by floating the timber down; this water channel was unique on a European scale and it is still functional. The original canal was built in the 19 th century and was 2,450 metres long. Harmanecká Cave is a national natural monument and is among the best known caves in Slovakia. Its entrance is located 260 m above Harmanec creek. 720 metres of it has been accessible since 1950. It has beautiful sinter decor and crystal clear lakes. In the area there are other smaller caves that are worth taking a quick look. These caves are Upper and Lower Túfna and Dekrétová cave, where the remains of a Paleolithic settlement were discovered. There is a forgotten stone bridge at the entry to Zalámaná Valley. It is believed to have been built at the time of operations of the Thurzo-Fugger copper enterprise in the 16 th century. Harmanecká valley is a real petrolhead treat. There are 100 curves, even some hairpins, over a distance of 11 kilometres in beautiful natural scenery. That is why it attracts thousands of motorcyclists from all over Europe to savour this route in its fullness.

Um Holz an schwer zugänglichen Stellen fördern zu können, bediente man sich einer für europäische Verhältnissen einzigartigen und bis heute funktionstüchtigen Wasserriese in Rakytovská dolina, die zum Holztrift verwendet wurde. Die ursprüngliche Riese wurde im 19. Jahrhundert gebaut und hatte eine Länge von 2450 m. Die Höhle Harmanecká jaskyňa gehört als ein nationales Naturdenkmal zu den bekanntesten Höhlen in der Slowakei. Der Eingang befindet sich 260 Höhenmeter über dem Fluss Harmanec. Im Jahr 1950 wurde sie auf einer Länge von 720 m der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. Sie hat wunderschöne Tropfsteinornamente und kristallklare Seen. In der Gegend befinden sich auch weitere kleine Höhlen, die einen kurzen Blick wert sind. Es sind die Höhlen Horná und Dolná Túfna und Dekretova jaskyňa, in denen Überreste von Siedlungen aus der Steinzeit entdeckt wurden. Beim Eingang in das Tal Zalámaná dolina trifft man auf eine in Vergessenheit geratene Steinbrücke. Es wird angenommen, dass sie im 16. Jahrhundert in der Zeit der Thurzo-Fugger Kupfergesellschaft errichtet wurde. Harmanecká dolina ist ein richtiges Leckerbissen für Mobilisten. Auf einer Strecke von 11 km gibt es in einer schönen Landschaft bis zu 100 Kurven, von denen manche einen Winkel von 180° erreichen. Dies wirkt auf tausende Auto- und Motorradfahrer aus ganz Europa anziehend, die diese Strecke regelrecht genießen.
