S budovou Klopačky je oblúkom spojená budova banského merač stva, ktorá bola srdcom banskej čin nosti. Nachádzala sa tu kresliareň, kde sa zhotovovali banské mapy. A podľa nich sa organizovali všetky banské činnosti v celej oblasti. T vorba máp bola odjakživa rozho dujúcou činnosťou pri baniach. Po verovali ňou najvzdelanejších ľudí. Vyžadovala sa od nich vysoká pres nosť a precíznosť zaznamenaných údajov. Pri vtedajšej úrovni meracej techniky to bol často neriešiteľný problém.

Špania Dolina bola odjakživa známa svojimi krásnymi stromami, ktoré rastú okolo obce. Hovorí sa o nich táto povesť. Pri príležitosti návštevy kráľa Karola VI. sa konala veľká slávnosť, na ktorú pozvali hostí zo 7 ban ských miest horného Uhorska. Slávnosť bola

veľkolepá, lebo pozvaných hostí bolo takmer 20 tisíc. Medzi nimi boli aj baníci, ktorí z vďačnosti odrobili 15 dní zadarmo. Na počesť tejto veľkej udalosti mladí ľudia z obce každý rok sadili okolo obce lipy a postupne vytvorili krásne stromoradie.

The Klopačka building is connected by an arc with the building of the Mining survey which was the heart of all mining activity. A drawing office was located inside and the mining maps were made here. On the basis of these maps all mining activities throughout the area were organised. Map-making has always been a crucial activity for mining. It was assigned to the most educated people. From them was demanded a high level of accuracy and precision of recorded data. Considering the then level of techniques in this type of measurement it was often a hopelessly unattainable problem. Špania Dolina has always been known for its beautiful trees that grow around the village. This legend circulates about them: on the occasion of the visit of King Charles VI a big celebration was held where guests from seven mining towns from Upper Hungary were invited. The celebration was spectacular because the amount of invited guests numbered nearly 20,000. Among them there were miners who worked 15 days for free as gratitude. In honour of this great event young people from the village planted limes around the village every year which gradually created beautiful avenues.

Mit dem Gebäude des Klopfturms ist in einem Bogen das Bergeichamt verbunden, das das Zentrum der Bergtätigkeiten war. Hier befand sich ein Zeichenraum, in dem Bergwerkkarten erstellt wurden. Nach ihnen wurden alle Bergtätigkeiten im gesamten Gebiet organisiert. Die Erstellung der Karten war seit jeher eine entscheidende Tätigkeit beim Bergbau. Mit ihr beauftragt wurden höchst gebildete Menschen. Beim Sammeln von Daten wurde von ihnen ein hohes Maß an Genauigkeit und Präzision verlangt. Beim damaligen Niveau der Messtechnik war es aber oft ein unlösbares Problem. Špania Dolina war schon immer für ihre schönen Bäume bekannt, die um die Gemeinde wachsen. Auch sie sind Gegenstand einer Sage: Um den Besuch des Kaisers Karl VI. zu ehren, hat man ein großes Fest veranstaltet, auf das Gäste aus sieben Bergstädten Oberungarns eingeladen wurden. Das Fest war pompös, weil die Anzahl der Gäste fast 20 000 erreichte. Unter ihnen waren auch Bergleute, die zum Dank 15 Tage lang gratis arbeiteten. Zum Gedenken an dieses große Ereignis pflanzten junge Menschen aus dem Ort jedes Jahr Linden um die Gemeinde herum und mit der Zeit entstand eine wunderschöne Allee.
