CONDITIONED REFLEX HORMOLYGOS AND THE PLACE OF HYDROGEN IN THE FAMILY OF MEDICAL GASES E.I.Nazarov, M.Noda The report outlines the concept of Conditioned Reflex Hormolygos in relation to the mechanism of action of the family of medical gases. All medical gases, with the exception of molecular hydrogen, are gaseous poisons. The descending toxicity series looks like O3->H2S->CO->XE->CO2->H2. Using the example of the three most commonly used mecal gases - ozone (the strongest oxidizing agent), hydrogen (reducing agent) and xenon (an inert substance), it is argued that the chemical nature of the gas plays a secondary steering wheel in the spectrum of pharmacological activity, which is almost identical for them. On the example of the two most studied medical gases: ozone and xenon, it is shown that the therapeutic properties of these gases are a mirror reflection of their toxic properties. Based on this, it is argued that ozone, xenon, and probably other toxic medical gases are pronounced Hormetics, and the dome-shaped dose-effect curve characteristic of Hormetics is explained by the activation of innate protective homeostatic reflexes. Obviously, the (defensive) homeostatic reflex is selectively directed to those characteristics of homeostasis that are disturbed by the toxicant. This explains the mirror-like therapeutic and toxic properties. For example, since the toxic effect of ozone on the blood is of a procoagulant nature, the therapeutic effect of ozone microdoses is an anticoagulant effect. Similarly, the reversible toxicity of xenon (anesthetic action) is aimed at reducing nervous activity, and the homeostatic protective reaction to low xenon concentrations is the manifestation of euphoria, antidepressant properties. A number of examples of the formation of conditioned reflex reflexes on the basis of unconditioned homeostatic reflexes of a very different nature and related to the most different types of homeostasis are given. It has been shown that course intoxication of the patient's body with microdoses of ozone (systemic ozone therapy) initiates a series of oscillatory reactions in the level of adrenal hormones, leukofopmula, as well as fluctuations in the cardiointervalogram spectrum. With the correct organization of the course of intoxication, a long-term (several months) normalization of the listed characteristics, as well as the patient's well-being, occurs. We interpret this as the formation of a conditioned homeostatic reflex. We propose to call this phenomenon Conditioned-reflex Hormolygos (from the Greek hormaо - to encourage movement, here - hormone and oligo - a small amount. Conditioned-reflex Hormolygos has a complex neuro-endocrine-immune character; it normalizes the work President of Ukrainean association of ozonetherapy.
