Kniha o Španej Doline a okolí

N aša obec sa nachádza len pár kilometrov od Banskej Bystrice, a predsa má návštevník pocit, že u nás je v inom svete. Vo svete romantiky, v malebnom kúte prírody, ale aj vo svete slávnej his tórie.

2) Pohľad do Banskej doliny

U ž samotný vstup do našej doliny je impozantný. U mnohých návštevní kov prejazd tunelom pod železnicou, ktorý je vstupnou bránou do doliny, vzbudzuje rešpekt a možno aj strach. Tunel symbolicky oddeľuje dva svety. Bežný mestský, plný zhonu a druhý, pokojný, v harmónii s prírodou.

3) Vstupná brána

P rístupová cesta dolinou, úbočím strmého svahu s ne konečným počtom zákrut však zlepší náladu každému, koho vstupný tunel vyľakal. Musíme sa postupne vyškria bať až do nadmorskej výšky 728 m. V lete si túto kľukatú cestu užívajú mladí cyklisti plným dúškom. Organizujú si na nej rýchlostné preteky dolu kopcom a zaznamenávajú si absurdné rekordy. Občas aj polámané kosti...

4) Prístupová cesta

Ú zka dolina sa konečne rozširuje a pred nami sa po stupne otvára pohľad na pozostatky dávnej ľudskej práce a baníckej činnosti v tomto malebnom kúte prírody.

5) Haldy z baní

Although our village is situated just few kilometres from Banská Bystrica, every visitor feels as if in another world. It is a world of romance, natural beauty and glorious history. The entrance to our valley is itself already very impressive. Passing through the tunnel under the railway, a gateway to the valley, requires respect and could evoke even some fear in many visitors. The tunnel symbolically separates two worlds. The first is the common bustle of city life, and the second world is calm and harmony with nature. The access road through the valley, in a steep hillside with an endless number of corners will, however, lift the spirits of anyone who was startled by the tunnel entrance. Visitors have to gradually scramble up to an altitude of 728 m. In summer, young cyclists fully enjoy this snaking route. They speed race down hill and come out with absurd records. And on the odd occasion with a few broken bones... Then the narrow valley finally extends and a view of the remains of ancient human labour and mining activities in this natural beauty spot reveals itself.

Unsere Gemeinde befindet sich nur wenige Kilometer von Banská Bystrica entfernt, und dennoch hat der Besucher das Gefühl bei uns in einer anderen Welt zu sein. In einer Welt der Romantik, in einem schönen Winkel der Natur, aber auch in einer Welt mit einer berühmten Geschichte. Schon der eigentliche Eintritt in unser Tal ist einzigartig. Bei vielen Besuchern flößt die Durchfahrt des Tunnels unterhalb der Eisenbahn, der eine Eingangspforte in das Tal ist, Respekt und vielleicht auch Angst ein. Der Tunnel spaltet symbolisch zwei Welten. Die gewöhnliche von Hektik gezeichnete städtische Welt und die andere, ruhige Welt, die im Einklang mit der Natur steht. Die Zugangsstraße über das Tal einen steilen Hang entlang mit unendlichen Kurven erfreut jeden, dem der Tunnel Angst eingejagt hat. Wir müssen bis auf 728 m über dem Meeresspiegel steigen. Im Sommer genießen diese kurvige Straße junge Radfahrer in vollen Zügen. Sie organisieren Abfahrtsrennen mit dem Rad und brechen dabei absurde Rekorde und oft auch ihre Knochen... Letztendlich verbreitert sich das schmale Tal und uns eröffnet sich ein Ausblick auf längst vergangene Überreste menschlicher Arbeit und Bergtätigkeiten in diesem schönen Winkel der Natur.
